The 9th Annual HMO Research Conference was hosted by Kaiser Permanente Colorado with sponsorship by the Agency for Healthcare Research & Quality, Alliance of Community Health Plans, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. This project was supported by grant number 1 R13 HS014029 from the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality.

The Conference was held April 1–2, 2003 at the Hyatt Tech Center in Denver, Colorado.
